Great Film For Fincher Fans

Not a fan of Ben Affleck or Tyler Perry but they were surprisingly very, very good. I do enjoy David Fincher and he did a superb job on this film. I didn't think I would enjoy it but it was very well done and I will watch it again.

This is a good set and worth every penny if you get it on sale. 3 Westerns that changed the genre and led to a revolution in cinema in the 70's. Plus you get Eastwood in his prime. If you liked Outlaw Josey Wales and Dirty Harry you will enjoy these films, though they move at a different, slower pace, but remember they were shot in the 60's.

Not Worth Full Price

I am a fan of this genre if the films are well done. This film started out strong for about the first hour and then tapered down. The dialogue was clunky and it relied to much on cgi's. It's worth a view if you can get the blu ray on sale otherwise wait for it to appear on Netflix.

It's a good film, not one of Tom Hanks better ones as some are saying, how they can even say that with Saving Private Ryan and Road To Perdition on his resume is beyond me, but a good solid film. Of course since almost everyone in the western hemisphere knows what happens in the end it is a bit hard to suspend disbelief. The other actors in the film have not worked since this film and probably will never work again unless they move to Burbank and find work as background artists aka extras.
