Good Remote, Interface is Awesome

This is really the only remote you need unless you have more than 8 things to control, or you reallyyyyyy want some bigger touch screen behaviors. It does everything, is super customizable, and the online interface is light years beyond the old "enter the codes on the remote and hope" style of universal remotes.
My only complaint, and the reason for one less star, is that the default "names" for actions which display on the little screen are just idiotic. They're engineer-speak, and utterly divorced from what your everyday person would call a button function. They don't even always map to what the device maker itself calls the buttons in their manuals. Instead of "Home" or "Left Arrow", the remote will have the function as "TopHome_Menu" or "MotionLeft_Nav" or some nonsense, which you have to manually change to something logical and that will fit in the small remote display space.

These are slightly less in the mAh category than other like AA NiMh batteries, but they're much more reliable in the long term than some of the other brand 2300 & 2500 mAh units that are for sale. I'd buy these for all my remotes and game controllers again.

Does everything it promises

This is a fantastic thermostat. The setup and installation are absurdly simple, and comprehensively documented. Even with one small difference in my setup from standard, the online documentation had a solution and I was directed there by the device itself during install. What thoughtful design that is.
As for its "intelligent functionality", the Away feature took about a week to learn my habits and the device does a better job than my old unit (programmable) did at keeping things at the temperature it says it is holding. Haven't had a chance to fully rely on the A/C yet, as it's winter, but the heater and fan have been without issue. The A/C was tested and worked during install, however.
We really adore the way it "greets" you as you walk by, too. It's non-intrusive, silent, and helpful to see the current status of the system at a glance.
