Lots of fun, drama and suspense! I love the Captain America comic book over the years. This film represents the 1970's era of the book, where there was a high level of espionage and intrigue versus the traditional superhero themes. Definitely one of the most grounded comic book films I've ever seen.

When you think of end-of-the-world films, this is one of the films you think of. Another classic example of the sequel surpassing the original, i.e. Empire Strikes Back, T-2 and Aliens.

The beginning of the film is fantastic and gritty, along with the rest of the Mad Max series. Unfortunately, Max finds some heart towards the end of the film that is uncharacteristic and leaves this fan with a bad taste.
