The Samsung Freestanding Range with a large 5.9 cu. ft. capacity oven can easily accommodate a big roast, multiple casserole dishes or several racks of cookies. This is a sleek looking range. Even though it is sold as silver, it is really black with a silver controls center and silver oven door. The 5 burners are nice. The rapid boil feature works well. The keep warm feature is nice, just use flat bottomed metal pots and pans. The first time I used the range, was to boil some chicken. It overflowed while boiling and left that nasty black residue that seems to be on their permanently now. We also got this the day before thanksgiving, the turkey also overflowed, and juices spilled all on the bottom. Use the self cleaning feature after and simply wiped out the mess easily with a moist towel. The oven cooks evenly, and is the biggest oven I have ever had. I cooked four pumpkin pies, utilizing both racks and they all came out evenly cooked. The top is all black and doesn't have little grey speckles like other stoves, so hopefully it is equally scratch resistant. I have yet to find out, but so far so good after a big thanksgiving feast was cooked on it.
