I bought this for my parents as they have a place where the Nest would work well. Personally, I use ecobee as I need the remote sensors. But I see the two on par and it all comes down to the features that are important to you. The nest really evolved this category and it continues to be a leader so you can't go wrong.

These are a little pricey, but so far this is the only game in town if you want multi room sensing capabilities. Which I really need due to room layout.
They can be a little tricky to position, but they seem to work well and are very unobtrusive. 3M command Velcro strips work well for mounting these to a wall.

Great, once you figure it out

To start, I considered and really wanted to go with Nest, but my thermostat is in an unused room, so it's sensor capabilities would not have worked at all. I read about the ecobee and liked to remote sensor concept as it fit my house layout much better.
First, it can get expensive with multiple sensors, but you don't have to use them if you can leverage the 2 that are included (1 in thermostat and 1 extra). Getting the sensors positioned well can be a little tricky so that it properly senses temp and occupancy. HomeKit integration has potential, but it requires turning off some of the smart features, so I haven't done it yet.
I've only had it for a month and am still getting the hang of it, but the app and Today screen widget are well done and responsive.

Great live adaptation of the film

For those used to the Disney animated version of the story, this is a little bit different telling. The story is very good, and it is well acted and the visuals are stunning. I highly recommend this for anyone that is a Disney or princess fan.
Note: I pre-ordered at a higher price that when it shipped, and BB only charged me the price when it shipped. I also got it a day before it hit the actual stores, so big kudos to BB.

Overall a good and cheap sound bar if you find it on sale. Sound is good and setup quick. I wish it had more HDMI inputs (1), but it's not designed or priced to switch sources. They expect your TV to do that.
Cinema mode is a little bass heavy, but otherwise it's generally an improvement over built in speakers.

Check Monoprice, they might have an Analog to Digital Converter that might do this. I have one that does the opposite (optical to analog stereo that works well).

Can the ecoe 3 be used with gas system to heat water?
I use a sun heater system for the bath. When the sunlight is out for many days, I need to turn on the gas system manually. Can the ECOBEE 3 detect the temperature of the water into the reservoir and turn on the gás system? Thanks.
I highly doubt it, but you can call ecobee support to verify. They are pretty helpful. As this is all based on room temp, I don't see how it would be able to trigger your water heater reliably (if at all).

how many watts is the subwoofer ??
whats the watts of the subwoofer ????
Per the LG website, it's rated at 200W. But I think that is an ideal number at maximum gain. It's a small woofer, so it's not going to reach the really deep lows if that is what you are looking for.

I bought a open box from best buy. There was no manual with it. Is there somewhere on the net I can download a manual?
Yes, on the LG website. Just search for the product model number. And actually, the manual that came with it was just a quick setup guide, you have to go to the website to get anything more detailed. But I'll be honest, there isn't a lot to the manual on the website either. There just isn't a lot to be said about this unit, I guess.

As long as your TV has either an HDMI port with ARC (Audio Return Channel) or a digital optical output, then it will work with this. I'm using it with a 8 year old Panasonic plasma with no issues. I just have a digital optical cable from the TV to the soundbar and all the sources (blu-ray, fireTV, appleTV, etc.) are connected to the TV. You leave the sound bar on the Optical input and just change the inputs on the TV. It couldn't be easier.
If you have a newer TV that supports the HDMI control channel, then your TV remote can control the volume on the soundbar.
