I was skeptical but these stick extenders do help me to be more precise and accurate in my aiming and movement. I have had the taller one of them snap off a couple of times when I was in the midst of a frantic situation - I wish there was a better way of attaching them. Also, these are designed to fit over the silicon grip caps the PS4 controller comes with. If those have torn off (a known problem with the PS4 controller) you will have to replace them before the KontrolFreaks will fit.

The most common complaints about Destiny seem to be a relatively empty world, repetitiveness and a not so great storyline. This is all true, and yet I'm still finding it fun and very addictive.
Destiny's worlds are beautiful. I've been in some very challenging and fun firefights. The loot could be better - more unique weapons and armor. Bungie needs to strengthen some of the weaker aspects of the game with some new content, which I am sure they will do. As it is, Destiny is the most fun I've had on my PS4.

Have not finished the game yet, but so far it is good. Feels like an old school shooter. Break crates to resupply health, armor and ammo. Duel-wield weapons to spray bullets, although I prefer the greater accuracy of using one at a time.

Good for music, not so much so for gaming

My old Creative 650s finally bit the dust and I bought these to replace them. The 650s were a 6.1 system with a large subwoofer and were great for gaming, though they were not so great for listening to music. Nowadays I only occasionally game on my PC, but I do sample a lot of music tracks before buying and downloading them. The T40s do a much better job at music playback. When playing games though, it sounds like the game is being played inside an echo chamber. Sometimes these speakers can sound very boxy as well, especially when the volume is turned up. In spite of my complaints I am keeping them, as they are adequate to my current needs. For the money I doubt there is much out there that is going to sound a lot better and my current usage doesn't justify spending two or three times as much to get a set of speakers that would sound significantly better.

Why do my speaker stop after a lack of sound?
When an application isn't using sound, the speakers stop outputting sound. Can I turn this feature off? I want them always on. As of now, they only cut on when they detect sounds are being made.
It's a power saving 'feature' - I have a set of Creative T40 speakers that do the same thing. Probably no way to turn it off.
