The assembly instructions are well-written, assembled easily although I'd advise using a hex-bit screwdriver (which I had), much more convenient than the included hex wrench. The stand is easily sturdy enough for my 49" TV, plenty of shelf space for various components. It looks very nice too. Strongly recommended.

What tools do you need to assemble this?
You need your own Phillips screwdriver and a rubber mallet or small hammer for tapping a small wooden peg into a pre-drilled hole. They include a required hex wrench, but I found that using a hex-bit screwdriver that I had was much more convenient than using the hex wrench that they include with the stand.
