I like Tom Hardy but Mel Gibson is even better - and he's the original Max. This is the best of the four films. The middle section with the choir singing kids is kind of annoying but all the stuff in BarterTown at the beginning and the end of this movie is AMAZING!!! Tina Turner is so awesome as the villain. This was the height of the Mad Max world. I love this movie.

All it takes is the swipe of a finger. We connect with friends. We buy the latest gadgets and gear. We find out what's happening in the world. But with that same simple swipe, we cast an increasingly expansive shadow. With each connection, we leave a digital trail that tracks our every move and milestone, our every like and dislike. And it's not just people. Today, all major cities are networked. Urban infrastructures are monitored and controlled by complex operating systems. In Watch Dogs, this system is called the Central Operating System (CTOS) ~ and it controls almost every piece of the city's technology and holds key information on all of the city's residents. You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. Now on the hunt for those who hurt your family, you'll be able to monitor and hack all who surround you by manipulating everything connected to the city's network. Access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.

I'm not much of a gamer. I mean, there are games that are totally immersive (Red Dead Redemption, various Assassin's Creeds), but this one was just ok.
A City teetering on the edge of a bloody revolution. An oppressive regime subsisting on the rising tide of fear. An extraordinarily skilled thief lies in the shadows during this uncertain and troubled time, thwarting even the most cautious citizens out of their best-guarded possessions. But as the uprising, led by Orion, voice-of-the-people, begins to emerge, Master Thief Garrett finds himself entangled in the ever-tightening knot of conflict. The Baron's Watch refuses to ease their stringent regime, and Garrett's abilities may be the only thing that will prevent the streets from running red with the blood of the people. Will you redefine your role as Thief to save the City from a devastating fate?Slip into the silent shoes of the dark and solitary Master Thief and sneak through the City unnoticed and unsanctioned. Unmatched stealth skills make child's play out of the most challenging heists and place the most inaccessible loots within your reach as you infiltrate luxurious mansions and relieve the residents of their valuables. Explore the sick and suffering City, from the shady back alleys to the highest rooftops, and decide what kind of thief you are. Whether you choose stealth or force, you are well-equipped to get the job done ~ choose force and leverage Garrett's arsenal and eliminate guards with your blackjack, or shoot one of the many arrow types. Choose stealth and manipulate your environment to outsmart your enemies with newly acquired focus abilities. Either way, you'll find yourself deeply immersed in the game's unprecedented sights, sounds and artificial intelligence, made possible by groundbreaking visual elements. Thief represents a truly tactile and visceral first-person experience and the amazing power of your next-generation console. The time has come to decide your role in the revolution.

He's sleazy, sure, but not very funny. Walter Mattheau would be great in this role, but Billy Bob's just too like this character in real life (at least it seems pretty genuine). Lauren Graham bugs me in everything - including this. No way would she come on to a guy like Billy Bob if it wasn't in the script. The kid is pretty great though. Overall, I say pass. If you want a funny holiday R-rated comedy see "The Ref" with Dennis Leary. That movie is hilarious.

These two are great on their own but even better together. The premise for this movie is funny on its own but these guys sell it for all it's worth. Great comedy.
