Okay game so far. Only tried multiplayer so far. The graphics are fine, but unremarkable.

Can Chromecast be used as a general PC-to-TV device?
Can Chromecast be used to simply duplicate my PC's screen on the TV, independent of any apps or browser? That is, can I see on TV whatever I am doing on my PC, say work on a Word doc or Excel spreadsheet, browse internet with Firefox, etc...?

You can cast to the TV using the chrome browser extension. That may or may not work for the whole screen, I do not recall. You could get a video card that supports wireless HDMI that would work as well, but they are expensive. If you do not need wireless a HDMI cable to the TV is the cheapest option.

Does Chromecast stream Amazon Prime?
The Chromecast does not stream Amazon prime as Amazon has not released an app for non Kindle devices to date. The kindle app does not work with the Chromecast yet either.
