Transmitter frequencies
Does the rear speaker transmitter operate in the same band as the subwoofer.transmitter. I saw the subwoofer transmitter has 3 rca inputs and it made me curious if I would link up with my rear speakers receiver and it no longer has a transmitter. Or can I buy a new transmitter for my rear speaker receiver.
I doubt the frequencies are the same. Rocketfish is smart enough to figure that you might use both together. The transmitters and receivers for the subwoofer and speakers have different connectors. Rear speakers use regular speaker connectors.The subwoofer uses 1 or 2 rca inputs so far as I know. I hope that answers your question.

how do you hook up a 7 speaker surround system?
It could be used to hook up your rear surround speakers. Just wire it to the speaker posts you want to run wireless. My understanding of 7 speaker surround is 2 front speakers 2 rear (surround) speakers 2 front speakers higher up and 1 sub in front. Again this would work good for the 2 rear surround speakers.
