not good for my viewing area

I need a long range boost antenna for my area. This particular basic model did not suit my needs. I returned. Also it was very clumsy trying to hang on a flat wall with the mounts on back of it. I bet it would be useful for someone only 10 miles or so from the signal towers, but that's not me.

This digital TV antenna receives clear digital TV signals from up to 35 miles away. The table- or wall-mountable design allows for optimal placement.

I wish I had the over-air towers closer to my house. I give this an average rating only for the long range 35+ mile distance is awesome for an INSIDE antenna. the HD local channels are beautiful. I have two issues though, the stand and physical set up for this is bulky and clumsy. I can't find a good shelf high enough to fit so it is waist level in my house. Also, it does have an optional amplifier addition. I did not want to use this originally, but turns out the position i had to place the antenna was more than 3 feet away from TV, requiring me to allocate the extra 6 ft extension with the amplifier attached. I did not decide to return it because of the long range i need.

Had to buy this extra HDMI cord to hook up the new TIVO to our plasma. I think the HD picture coming in now is 5X better than our Cable provider we dumped. I choked at the $30 price, but it will last a while. Looks great.
