I have had no problem charging a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone until the wire turned faulty after less than 1 full month after purchase. You can also get a outdoor antenna which usually work well on the roof but sometimes the yard works also and you can buy a frequency extender for out side to help bring in the frequency better for you. as I listed them the price generally increases not always but generally. now their is one more option most either never heard abought or rather not bother with. this is called FTA (Free To Air) free to air TV is your personally owned satellite dish you purchase. free to air broadcasting is broadcasted all over the world by sattelites in our orbit By amatures and profesionals alike like hamradio. it'S all 100% free programing. nothing is guaranteed thoe. some channels get so good they become part of regular cable broadcasting others stay FTA or fade out all together. their are 100 upon 100 of FTA channels to watch but it's not all that cheap. you have to buy a satellite dish and all the recivers for in your home and then install it all or have someone install it and if you don't get a motorized satellite dish then you have to continually re position the dish to pick up other satelites. with a motorized dish all you do is use your remote that comes with the compatable reciver box and it does all the work for you. I would say for full install motorized dish and 1 reciver box for 1 tv that's compatable with the motorized dish maybe $200 to $300 dollars. It could be a lot more or even less. It would depend on what you buy and if you install it your self or not and yes you can install a satellite dish on the side of your home or even on the ground. it doesn't need to be only on your roof so you know.
