II have scratches on this cover already, but that's what it's supposed to do, protect the actual glass. So, I guess it's done it's job, but I really won't know unless i remove it to make sure the scratches didn't go through to the glass.

He is pretty rough with electronics, so I purchased the warranty, which I highly suggest as it covers the plastic headband if it breaks... worth every penny since these headphones are quite costly.
