Great new character

While Skylanders has been a huge hit amongst kids and adults alike, Giants unfortunately didn't enjoy the same influx of new characters that Adventure did. Flashwing is a great exception to this rule.
First off, the character appears to be female, which is a great addition for a franchise that does not have nearly enough female characters. Also, she's a dragon-like character. While Adventure had at least one dragon per element, Giants doesn't have many new dragons, so it's good to see at least one in Flashwing.
With fun abilities and interesting advancement, Flashwing is a worthwhile member of the ever-growing Skylanders family.

FTSK are back to their roots

I have been a FTSK fan ever since I first saw them at the Warped Tour on a teeny stage in the back of the park. Their energy and catchy rhythms make them one of the best pop-punk bands on the scene right now.
After "Underdog Alma Mater" had its moment in the sun, FTSK faltered a bit with their next two releases, in my opinion. Their self-titled sophomore effort and seemingly premature abandonment of "The Weekend" project were both disappointing milestones. But "J.A.C.K." brings them back to full force, with the call and response and roaring anthems the band has become known for.
The stand-out track is definitely "Kick It!", but each song glows for different reasons. If you're new to the FTSK camp, or became disenchanted with their recent progress (like I did), then you should absolutely pick up "J.A.C.K." and jam out like you used to.

Great add-on for a great game

This is a fun add-on for Skylanders Giants. Shroom Boom is a great character, with humorous comments and interesting abilities. The cannon item also opens up new possibilities for supplemental support in the story mode, or a new arena in battle mode. The only negative aspect is the fact that Chop Chop was available for purchase during the original game's run, but that would only affect you if you played that game. A must-buy for collectors!

Wonderful band, mediocre release

I have always been a fan of The Dear Hunter. I feel that frontman Casey Crescenzo is a musical genius, and has a strong understanding of instrumentality and emotion.
However, I felt that "Migrant" fell short. The Dear Hunter "Acts Series" is easily his best work. While "The Color Spectrum" had some bright moments, it also lacked in others. "Migrant" suffers from the same issues, and has catchy tunes and melodies, but fails to reach the extraordinary levels that would allow it to stand apart from other rock/indie releases of current years.
Even still, The Dear Hunter does have talent, and continues to thrive. I would buy anything they release, and will continue to support them.

I love these smaller PSN cards. Sometimes you just need to buy some DLC, or a cheap new game. Or you just want to bolster your SEN wallet with a little more dough. This definitely does the trick.
