this movie gets right to the point, which is to give Rambo a reason to put on his headband and cut down whole armies. blood and gore are mostly GCI, but you hardly notice with all the shaky cam and super fast sequences.
What's great about it: Gory, intense action scenes
What's not so great: simple plot

having read so much rave reviews i expected a little more. it is like any other superhero movie these days. good special effects; decent script and acting; and of course - humor.
What's great about it: good fx
What's not so great: thin plot

nice little phone with basic functions. can be a little hard to hold with large hands. good call quality from sprint network.

finally, a CG movie for adults. i avoid kids' fare like kung fu panda so i hope more movies like this will be produced in the future. this could pass for an "R" rating and caters to more grown up tastes. creative action sequences, rousing score, and more than capable voice acting make "Beowulf" a classic in my book.
What's great about it: Imaginative action;great music
What's not so great: Little short on plot

the first movie was unexpectedly funny. a sleeper hit with two asian lead characters. this sequel however isn't quite up to par with that one. however, give it a go if you have nothing to do at home
What's great about it: plenty of vulgar jokes, nudity
What's not so great: not as fresh as the first one

Grab this DVD if you want to see the industry's two top kung fu actors onscreen at the same time. Movie is loaded with talent but doesn't contain much substance as it is aimed at pre-teens and families.
What's great about it: Seeing Jet and Jackie together for the first time
What's not so great: Simple story; choppy editing
