Not happy with the installation

The installers left my machine with a scratch. Rocked my dryer back and forth when there was no need to even tough the dryer. They were only installing the washer. They spoke another language and I had to ask them what they were saying. They were in too big of hurry to leave.

Cleans much better than my Samsung did

About one and one half years ago I purchased a top of the line Samsung Top Loader. It didn't clean well, it tore clothing, leaked and was recalled. I dumped it when I had a chance and purchased the LF Top Loader. I love it, it cleans so much better and takes less time. All around a much better machine. A friend had the same Samsung, took the buyout and now has the same LG washer and she loves it also.

Disappointing purchase

I did read that it twist clothes before I purchased it but now I am experiencing it first hand. I use the cycles to get the most water but soiled clothes do not come out very clean. Example being toothpaste on a shirt that was cleaned off but I faint bit is still there. It does not come clean. Tiny bits of food on a pants leg or shirt do not come clean. It has be very frustrating. Also, temp gauges don't seem to be true. Warm on delicates is steaming hot and warm on normal is cold.

I am disappointed in the dryer's performance. It's wrinkle free setting does not do as well as my old Sears model at one third the cost. It melted a patch on a pair of Under Amour thin pants on med-high. It also has put marks on thin shirts that get stuck in the door stripping.
