I was somewhat disappointed because of the difficulty of stripping the plastic covering to connect to a home speaker system. Even though I had wire strippers it seemed very difficult to remove sufficient plastic to connect the speakers. I ultimately used another product.

An excellent home theater system for the value

Surprising sound for relatively small speakers. My circumstances were that I already had a sound system, so I did not need a separate sub-woofer. After trying some other products, I am very pleased with the purchase. I particularly am amazed at the improved sound quality for my CD music collection, such that I am listing to old favorites and hearing things I never heard before. An additional consideration is that the additional depth provided by the added five speakers permits listening at a lower volume without compromising the depth of the music field.
