Crystal clear connection for SiriusXM

I bought a vehicle kit for my OnyX Plus, and the FM signal was too weak for my liking. I bought this and installed it myself. Now it's a crystal clear signal. If you're apprehensive in DIY, get Geek Squad to install it.

FM Direct application

Do you have to plug the FM Direct Adapter directly into the back of the radio if you cant get to it, if, you have a "junction" to plug it into the Antenna?

This plugs into the port in the SiriusXM Vehicle kit labeled "FM". It is on the left side of the cradle and "plugs in" to the radio itself through the cradle. Refer to the Vehicle Kit's installation instructions.

can i use the cord as a simple aux cord? meaning can i plug my phone in and listen to music also?

No. The adapter only works with the SiriusXM Vehicle Kit's FM output. It will not work without being plugged in to the vehicle kit.
