Awesome finale to an underrated film franchise

Most movie adaptations of video games usually end in disappointment. Many were quick to dismiss Resident Evil, saying it's derivative and an obvious cash-grab. It was never intended to be a direct translation of the games, but rather a re-imagining, a 'parallel-universe' if you will. While it borrowed plot elements and characters, the series took on a life of its own. Even among fans of zombie films, it was considered mediocre at best. The best mindset to have when watching these movies is that they're themed action/adventures, featuring zombies, rather than expecting a Romero-esque classic.
This particular movie, by itself, i imagine the plot would be quite confusing if someone unfamiliar with the franchise were to watch it, but within the context of the films, it provides a resolute and rather compelling finale to the series. If you like any of the other movies, or at least seen them, it's worth at least renting.
While the movie itself is great, and the availability of 4K format is attractive, i wouldve liked an option 3D version, I understand it wasn't made for 3D so I'm content with the combo pack as sold.
It should also be noted that there are CGI animated Resident Evil movies, and those are more in line with the game, and actually provide a richer narrative supplement to the games.

"I have to go charge my watch"

I'll admit, I'm slightly amused how many times I've uttered those words. Yes, charging and syncing the fitbit does seem a bit inconvenient, perhaps a deal-breaker to some, but I feel like this is a problem people would have "in the future." The "future" being now.
Overall, I have no major complaints, all this is still relatively new technology, at least on a mass produced commercial level. Stair Climbed Accuracy it particularly inaccurate, and the band does start to irritate the skin, but that can be remedied with warm soap and Cetaphil, which I recommend to sooth the fatigued skin.
I only have two major grievances, neither of which are technically the fault of the watch itself, hence the 4 stars, but this has more to do with the apps and the way BPM ranges are calculated. While I'm not so savvy on programming and software architecture, I feel very strongly that one major variable is conspicuously missing from any mobile fitness brand.
That would be drugs. Whether these drugs come from a licensed physician or are obtained illegally, can WILDLY influence things such as resting heart rate, or registering general psychomotor agitation as "steps" towards your daily goal.

I understand that every individual reacts differently to different substances, and of the thousands of possible combinations against unpredictable variables; even on a genetic level drug sensitivity can be greatly influenced, vis a vis active genetic markers, how substances are metabolized, neurochemical balance, the list goes on.
I don't know taking all this into account is even viable from a technological stand point, likely some kind of AI would need to be developed, and of course consulting with your physician is always a good idea.
Case in point: I am a 26 year old male, slightly overweight, and even though I'm not the most athletic guy out there, my Fitbit sure thinks I am. My resting heart rate averages between 110-120. It's not so appropriate to get too specific here, but the medications I require raise my heart rate and so If i'm doing something as simple as washing dishes, Fitbit seems to think I'm training for a triathlon.
Case in point: I am a 26 year old male, slightly overweight, and even though I'm not the most athletic guy out there, my Fitbit sure thinks I am. My resting heart rate averages between 110-120. I know ranges can be manually adjusted, but I may be spoiled by all this automation and predictive feedback, I should've have to. I just punch in my how much and when I take my dosages, factors other variables, such as did I take it while in a fasting state? How do my other prescriptions interact? Maybe after aggregating all my health data collected nearly 24/7, I might be able to receive a warning that I'm approaching a Vitamin D deficiency, and see a doctor to make sure nothing's wrong...or even just suggestion to alter my diet to avoid the situation all together.
I know it's a bit of a Pie-in-The-Sky idea, but from my perspective it's a major flaw that I feel was overlooked.
The watch itself is good, I guess. It's balanced, is a better word. It charges fast, but drains fast depending what features you use. The choice of clock faces are exciting. While there is a moderate variety of watch bands to pick, from the default sporty kind-of rubber, to a rugged cloth type, or chain links, they are entirely too expensive. But ask yourself this: how often do you change watch bands to begin with anyway?
Bottom line, I'm satisfied. I'll likely skip the next 2 or 3 generations of fit watches before I even consider a new one.

I originally decided to purchase this based solely on its appearance. The metallic color, even the faux leather strap with the brass button gives it a very durable, if not slightly upscale accessory.
You can probably imagine my surprise when, after I finished charging my phone, I pulled the cable out of the phone, the metal connecter remained INSIDE my iPhone! It's not as though I ripped it off like a caveman. As with the many hundreds, if not thousands of times I've disconnected electronic devices from their charging cables, I know not to just yank cords out of things. I grip at the base where the reinforced plastic meets the "durable nylon braiding" and apply a slightly firm but steady withdrawal. Imagine my surprise when it finally registers to me that the actual metal component remained in the phone itself. It took me 15 minutes, and a pair of tweezers, and some profane if not impolite muttering under my breath to coax the part out of the phones charging...hole. When I finally got it out, it flew across the room, but I had no patience left that day and promptly returned the cable.
I thought there would've been some kind of damage, but I count myself lucky that everything still works fine.

....Just not as well as it could. With such exciting buzzwords like "universal" and "magic," you probably, much like myself, was under the impression this would make your phone practically inseparable from the mount, even during extreme and extraordinary circumstances....say, hitting a speed bump at 10mph. While the magnet seemed to hold though my thin plastic bumper case, it tumbled off my dash.
HOWEVER, if my phone is naked, the magnetic cohesion is almost Herculean. It can almost fly straight to the mount if I let go.
Also, be EXTREMELY careful when applying the magnet to the phone...some kind of Mythological Giga-Glue makes it a 1 shot deal, so ask someone with steady hands to apply it for you, otherwise a slight exhale will blow the paper-thin magnet from your fingertips all the way to Kingdom Come.
The mount itself is great, no complaints. All in all, even with all the headaches resulting in trial/error, 2nd chances, etc, I still find these Scosche's to be a much better than any mechanical dash mount, by a mile. I can't help but admire the commercial wisdom and pragmatic foresight and this company has, in selling stand-alone magnets; they expect you'll likely fail in some way, and furnish a sensible solution.
