Currently, I have a 30" slide-in range. Will a 30" free-standing range fit in the same opening?
The two ranges I'm considering are the LG LSE3092ST and the GE CS980SNSS. I know the LG slide-in will fit in the opening as it is. What modifications will I need to make to the counter to accept the GE free-standing?
Yes it will but there is a piece of shelving about 3" that the old stove rests on .If you don't want to remove this piece your new stove will protrude from the wall a little more than needed.
