Where to begin. Morrissey is one of my favorite singers of all time. So I anxiously await any new release from him. This cd collection is yet another greatest hits album. If they really wanted to release a greatest hits cd in should be a little longer to actually have most of his singles in his 20 year solo career. Or if a single cd release is what is to be released at least let the fans choose which songs would be on his greatest hits cd.
The actual cd is a so so collection of hits. Each person may pick apart which songs should have been included or deleted. But it is a good representative of some of his hits in both the US as well as in the UK. Also added are 2 new songs including the single Thats How People Grow Up. And in this edition there is a live cd recording recorded at The Hollywood Bowl. This is the real reason to buy this collection. Had it not been for the live cd I would only give the greatest hits cd only 3 stars. But it is nice to have some live songs that you don't always get to hear at a Morrissey concert.
This cd will at least tide over until the next Morrissey studio album or as it seems to be a pattern, next reissue collection with a few new songs.

I went into the theatre last year not knowing what to expect from this film. I knew only of it being about a teen pregnancy. I was not familiar with Ellen Page or Michael Cera.
From the opening credits I was hooked. Catchy song and clever opening credit sequence. The movie just gets better from there. Teen pregnancy is a tough subject to portray on film but they pull it off. Not a lot of people can conect to a teen charachter that is pregnant, but they really make you feel for the Juno character. With her humor and smart wit you get emotionally involved with her and you really want everything to go well for her in the end.
Also interesting were the adoptive couple (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner). Some people criticize Garner's character of being cold. I didn't feel that way at all. I felt she was in desperation to have a child and she wanted everything to be perfect so Juno would want to choose her to be the adoptive parent. She was a sad lonely housewife that felt incomplete not having a child in their home. Just look at the scene where she interacted with her friend's child and you could see she wasn't a cold person.
I would and have reccomended this movie to everyone. One of the years best. I wish it had won an Oscar for Ellen Page and Best Picture. If you like the music in the film I also highly reccomend the soundtrack.

The B-52s have been absent from the music scene far too long. Yes they have toured togerther doing greatest hits for years mostly at casinos. This album will change that. They will now be playing clubs and popular venues to bigger crowds. This album is excellent. Keith's musical arrangements have never sounded better. He updated the songs with a sound that is a fresh and modern. It is a little more electronic and yet retains the classic B-52s guitar surf sound. Also back is Cindy Wilson and how sweet it is to hear the wonderful harmonies between her and Kate Pierson again. The cd starts off with an awesome guitar riff on the song Pump and the party continues from there. Tracks like Funplex, Hot Corner and Love In The Year 3000 will keep clubbers out on the dancefloor. Then chill to song with soaring vocals like the Fellini inspired Juliet Of The Spirits and Deviant Ingredient as the cd continues. The only thing that brings some of the songs down is some of Fred's vocals. Don't get me wrong the B's wouldn't be the same without Fred and I wouldn't want the band any other way. I just think some of his vocal placement were mismatched in songs like Love In The Year 3000 with the intro robotic voice, and think I would have liked the song Deviant Ingrediant more if it had just been a Kate and Cindy song. Besides that I would still strongly recommend the album to anyone who likes a hip pop/rock/dance sound for both older fans of the band as well as fans of newer bands like Scissor Sisters, The Killers or Mika. One of the best of 2008.
What's great about it: One of the best cd;s this year. Great music
What's not so great: Some of Freds vocals don't vibe well with the songs
