You have to be realistic when purchasing this dishwasher. For the price you pay, you shouldn't expect fancy cycles, quiet operation, or much else other than a decent ability to clean your dishes, and that it does. It does a pretty good job getting things clean without a need to prewash. However, it is rated at 61db according to Best Buy's specs and I believe it. It is a dishwasher you turn on when you leave the house for work. Do not turn it on in the evening because you can hear it just about anywhere. The other major drawback is that it stinks at drying. Even though it gets pretty hot instead, your dishes will still come out wet. The solution is that somewhere in the middle or even towards the end of the dry cycle, you open it up and pull out the bottom rack. Then, everything does get dry because of I assume evaporation. I know, kinda hard to do if you left it to run while you're gone. I can't complain much because I knew I was getting a very basic dishwasher and for $99, can't complain (on sale for $199 with $100 Energy Star rebate)
What's great about it: Price, cleaning ability, two spray arms
What's not so great: LOUD, long cycle, drying ability
