I have had no issues with this cable - the sound transfers to my car speakers with no crackle. I have noticed that the phone volume has to be up at its very highest, but I'm not sure that has anything to do with the cable. Good buy - was marked wrong in the store (I looked it up on the website before going in to the store to buy it) but the staff at the store made good on the online price.

This mounting bracket was purchased on a discount because the package had been opened - it was likely a return. I didn't notice why it would have been returned because it was working just fine for me. It performs like it should, doesn't have too much wobble while the vehicle is in motion. The only problem that's developed with it is that the button that cranks the sides outward so you can remove your phone doesn't catch well anymore - it seems some of the plastic has worn in a very short time (I purchased this only about a month ago) and it slides past the catch, making it take forever pushing the button before the sides will loosen. Not completely useless, but apparently rather cheaply made.

The rubber tip on this sometimes doesn't activate on my iPad touch screen unless I deliberately press hard. Also, make sure the pen tip is fully retracted before using as a stylus.
