This is a 'plug it in and it works' device that provides both battery back-up and protection from electrical line spikes. There are plenty of USB outlets as well as protected outlets, including cable and phone lines.

Excellent memory card

The 16GB card is almost the perfect size...about 850 RAW files...perfect for a wedding or a full day's vacation shooting. These Kingston Ultimate cards almost never fail, according to the research I've done, and I've never had one fail for me. At this price, they make an excellent archive and back up for the hard drive on my computer.

I purchase basic turbotax 2013..

I have adobe reader 9.2 .I believe it came with it ....never use it .I need to read PDF to I need to upgrade in order for me doing my Taxes . This is my first time doing my taxes on my PC ..another question when the software mentions they'll retrieve my W-2 from bank or company institution ..how they do that since I have them in hand. I purchase my H/P pavillion 6gb vista through Best-Buy..I would appreciate you give me some feedback..Thank you

Adobe Reader will allow you to read the forms provided by the IRS as well as complete the software on-line. The Adobe software should be self-loading if you click the "OK" button when it appears on your screen.

As for the W-2 forms, many companies load their information to a secure server for the convenience of their employees so that the major tax preparation software companies can access the data automatically, provided the individuals provide their social security numbers, relevant personal data, and permission for the companies to access the data (all controlled in the software). This service allows the software to load the data without the user re-keying the data, thus eliminating keystroke errors. You may elect to key the information in to the software if you choose. Also, not all companies upload the W-2 information to the secure servers.
