It's pretty much a given that you are going to get a great tv from Samsung. That said, I was amazed how "smart" this smart tv was. It asked for my zip code and cable provider and used that to set up my my tv and all my aps! The picture on this tv is beautiful!

Poor range makes this only usable if you're in the same room. No use for it in the same room! Couple of hundred bucks down the drain!

I may have too much other wireless stuff running, but my rear speakers were scratchy and there was a lot of interference.
What's not so great: Too much static and interference. Ended up just running cables.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
