He was really happy when he opened them up and he took everything out of the box and inspected it all. My granddaughter wanted a pair of these for Christmas. She had just joined the Navy and so I figured I would get them. She got out of basic and my son and daughter-in-law went to see her graduate and took a small tree and some gifts. When she opened these, she called me and was so happy. She did get to come home for Christmas and was still telling me how much she loved them.
