It is the old version. Love it just for the fact that it has an ethernet port, so don't have to worry about wireless connectivity. As, I understand, they took that feature out of the new ones, I may be wrong. Though, it seems to be following Apple's bid to make you work harder. Apple used to have the right idea, simple, though great. And don't get me talking about the Photo's App and it's ridiculous lack of features. It's been years and you still can't set up the order of how the pictures are seen. (yes/no?) And I'm an absolute Apple lover, though it's starting to wain.
