I purchased this item specifically because I have heard of off brand controller connectors in which the setup was a nightmare. Microsoft really did well with this device. It is literally plug and play. I have yet to find any application/game where I need to make any control adjustments.
Plus you can connect up to 4 controllers to your computer and it's as simple as connecting it to your Xbox.

I have the RP 450C 5.25 X 4,, is the RP140S ok to use?

I have a couple questions of my own for you, but it doesn’t really work both ways so I’m just gonna give you some info. Short answer is yes, If you have the rp450c center channel speakers, you can get the rp140s. I’m assuming you have a 5.1 or 7.1 setup and you are getting these for your rear or surround positions.

Can this speaker be used as a rear surround speaker.

Yes, this speaker is meant to be used as the rear speakers in a 5.1 system or the surrounds in a 7.1 system.
