Amazing washer

This washer replaced my previous agitation style washer. It runs more efficiently and has many more settings for specific clothing types (I.E. towels, bedding, delicates, etc). Very happy with this purchase.

Getting rid of cable, can I get local live stations?

can I get local live stations? via PC/wifi with this?

Chromecast only casts whatever is on your PC, laptop, phone, tablet, etc. If you can find a way to stream local TV on one these then you can wathc local TV through the chromecast. I would recommend an antenna if you only need local channels. Think of the chromecast as an HDMI adapter that is all it really it. Just helps you cut the cord from device to TV.

Can this device be plugged directly into TV through a USB port or is an HDMI port necessary?

Can this device be plugged directly into a USB port on a TV or is a HDMI port necessary? The answer seems to be no but I can find no straight answer anywhere

The USB connection only provides power to the chromecast. It is not possible for video to be transferred over USB unless you are only transferring files. You can use HDMI to RCA adapters if you do not have HDMI, otherwise the chromecast is not useful.
