Is there a way to turn off the rear speakers and leave the soundbar on? My living room shares a wall with a roommate, I'd like to be able to turn off the rear speakers when it's late, as they will be mounted to that wall.

I just got off the phone with LG Support, tech says it's better to use the optical wire connection instead of HDMI/HDMI Arc on new LG TV.......what do you all think? This system is being delivered on Thursday. Thank you :)
I've been using mine for a week and am connected through the optical wire. It sounds incredible. It was easy to set up and the only thing after connecting it was adjusting the woofer and the back speakers to fit the room. I did not try the HDMI connection. I did use Bluetooth with my phone and it sounded great too.
