I think I mistakenly hit the wrong button on my remote and my sound bar is not working. I have done everything I know to hook it back up. The bar message says tv ready. What should I do?

I don't have a Samsung tv, is it compatible with other tv makers?
Yes it is compatible with other tv makers, I have a In igma tv and it works just fine.
