This is the 4th of these radios I have bought. I like them. They do the job i ask of them, the reception is terrific, and if you replace the clunky headphones with earbuds, they're even better. Nothing overly-sexy about this radio - c'mon folks, it's an analogue radio - and since this is what i wanted, I'm just fine with it!!

my radio plays as expected, but then it cuts out. By pressing the on/off button it will come back on and repeat the process. When I put it on fm, it plays for a moment, then cuts out. Why?

AM reception
Hi..all I am looking for is a small AM radio that I can use to listen to sports talk radio while I ride the train to and from work. Sounds simple, but everything I try fails. I assume the train interferes with the reception, but this is absurd. Help!

Never have been able to recieve any weather info on any of the bands only static. Is this a common problem, after all it's advertised to provide wx information.
I fear that the weather channels from NOAA are just weak. HOWEVER: I once used it to pick up a weather channel in the Boundary Waters National Park at the US-Canada border. It REALLY came in handy that time because we were (literally) in the middle of nowhere and had to get back to our camp with 6 Boy Scouts. Paddled 13 mi in about 8 hrs - but knew the storm was breaking in the middle of the night thanks to this little radio!
