A high point for recent Disney

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this movie was. Good story, tremendous music by Lin Manuel-Miranda, and a surprisingly good effort from The Rock as Maui, the Demi-God. This is a movie I can watch over and over, reminiscent of the Little Mermaid/Beauty and The Beast/Lion King period!

I thought this might one of those "let's party endlessly while we make a horrible movie" flicks (think 'This Is The End'). Instead, it turned out to be a funny movie featuring a pretty terrific cast. This was one 'book' I shouldn't have judged by the cover!

Compared to other Marvel movies left a lot to be desired. Possibly, because as they said the movie, the Avengers deal with the physical, while Dr Strange deals with the mental aspects. Was odd hearing Benedict Cumberbatch without a British accent

Bruce Willis was good in Sin City, but the rest of the movie was just okay. With the exception of V For Vendetta, I've not been a big fan of movies made from Graphic Novels. This is a good example of why. On the plus side, it came with an UltrViolet Digital Copy.
