Entertaining movie , sort of a throwback in the vain of Sargent York. Beautifully shot. A romantic view of America during the Great War . Could've been PG - 13 until the battle sequences arrived with Mel's slant on action . Great emersive sound and beautiful picture.

Picture itself is entertaining, the picture is sharp and sound is great. The director hates color and I'm curious as to how the movie would look if it didn't go through the DI process it did. I've seen some of the before work on the behind the scenes and the shots were absolutely beautiful.

Old school sci-fi made today

Enjoyable early 1970's sci-fi type of story but shot today. Cruise is playing the Charlton Heston role, that would've been played in 1972. Two roles I thought were miscast, Morgan Freeman and Nikolaj coster-waldau, the weight of who they are leaves you feeling , why not more? Beautifully shot with a great sound design. A lot of love was put into this movie. Very enjoyable.

Was able to enjoy without expectations

Picture quality was very good and enjoyed the sound design. Amanda Waller was my favorite character. I felt The Joker was in it enough since it wasn't his movie. Also very good interpretation of all of the characters, you go back to the books and you'll say there was room for improvement I.e., captain boomerang, slipknot. Will is great as Deadshot ... Harley , no one else could've played her (maybe Jenna Malone) , but my point is, she owns that character. Story had some surprises and the 3D was good but I felt they played it too safe.

I'm a big fan of the camera work in this series, I'm aware of what they're doing and it still gives me the proper anxiety where it should. Sound design is great. I like all of the extras being ported over , I wish they had improved the picture quality of the extras. Great Christmas gift or fathers/ Mother's Day gift.
