Can I use regular powder detergent does it have to be He detergent?
you can use powder detergent, just add it directly into the tub. but if you're not using He, your not letting your washer live to its full potential.

HOW FULL OF WATER SHOULD IT BE
MY WASHER IS NOT OVER THE CLOTHES IS THAT OK MY OLD WASHER WOULD FILL WATER OVER BY 4 INCHES BUT THE NEW WASHER DOSE NOT IS THIS OK
I was told by the manufacturer that it places the amount of water based on the weight of the clothes. it does not matter that it doesn't fill above the clothes, the clothes will eventually get agitated thoroughly. It saves you money, and saves the environment some how.

Where do I place powdered whitener?
I want to add powdered whitener to my white wash and am not sure where to put it - in the tub ? I will be also using liquid bleach which I know goes into the bleach dispenser . Thank you
I use an oxy powder along with my liquid soap. I was told by the manufacturer to put the dry powder directly into the tub, and the liquid into the dispenser.
