This steelbook is very colorful! Movie is meh.

Starts out really great and quickly becomes predictive and boring.
The movie itself looks amazing on HDR if you get it on 4k. Ill give it that.
The saving grace is the steelbook. The art is bright and colorful and a change from the kinda bland and colorless other 2 movie steelbooks. I really only bought the steel to put my 4k disc in it.
Star Trek movies are always a hit or a miss and this one was a miss for me.

This steelbook is gorgeous. I think its one of my favorites and I have a lot of steels. The back art is what I liked the most. Im not sure why but its great.
I dont have much to say about the movie itself. I cant remember how long ago I had seen it last. I remember it scared me as a child in the 80s. So it was kinda new to me. Delivered via 4k I was drawn in right away at all the details the Henson/Oz crew created and just let it roll. Masters of the craft. The story is great. Timeless tale of good vs evil.
If you're a steelbook collector, get this steel. Its nice. If you are not a collector and get this one on steel you just might become one of us.

Honestly Marvel steelbooks needs better art.

The steelbook itself needs work. This is why 4 stars. Was disappointing to see that boring back art. Hulk should have been on the back in bright Hulk green to match the front and follow the theme of the movie. I love steelbooks with two different colors on the front and back. Makes the spine pop and draws the eye. The inside art should have been something with Hela and Odin on it. Maybe the art from the dome inside the throne room. How bout Loki or the Valkyrie? Show them some love.
I wait to watch movies at home and not in the theater cause I got a nice setup and anxiety. So this movie was a long wait for me. I liked the movie just fine. Its a comic book in movie form and has a lot of comedy. It has the pace of a quirky comic book. It has the art style of a early age comic book. It is NOT like the other two Thor movies which are a more serious and brooding. It is a change of pace and I liked it.
Its great on 4k w HDR and the colors are intense. The cgi however is a tad bit off putting cause you can tell when there is green screen which is pretty much every scene. I messed with my tv settings too and I got a Sony Bravia XBR X900E TV.
Small things really, nit picky stuff. I appreciated the movie, it was fun I will enjoy watching it again and thats what matters. Im excited for the Infinity War and my Black Panther steelbook!

I ordered this off website and they arrived with busted corners. It has become aware to me that many of these have been returned for this reason and they are just being circulated and damaged more in an endless loop of disappointment. IF, and its a big IF you get one thats not busted up, get a lottery ticket. The steelbook itself is nice if you plan on opening it. Same goes for the magnet. But some people collect this stuff and busted corners matters.

This was an impulse buy based on the matching Hellboy SB. Why they didnt make the Hellboy 2 SB match instead of this movie but whatever. Never really saw the movie and tried to watch but was bored and turned it off.

I love the original movies so getting the steelbook was inevitable. The artwork is just cool. There are similar SBs for the other two movies, they are equally as neat. I plan on getting the 4k of the first 2 and dropping them in these cases.
