Kull arrives on Blu-ray, at a great price.

Universal released Kull on Blu-ray back in Feb. 2015, but it didn't appear in-store at Best Buy's in my area until June 2016. It was placed on a special fixture as part of a discount promotion - priced at $4.95 it was an automatic purchase. Certainly not an upper-tier Fantasy/Sword & Sorcery film, but fun nonetheless.

Excellent disaster movie, Norwegian style.

I'd read some glowing reviews for The Wave, and decided to purchase the Blu-ray. I love disaster movies, and this film from Norway does the genre proud. It's well-made and well-written - great characters and great effects. My only complaint is that I wish there were more effects shots.
