Bulky and hard to push

It works good as long as you have the right settings chosen (too much to think about when doing housework). It is very bulky and hard to maneuver. The on/off switch is weird. The attachments are pretty good.

Battery Questions
How do I change the batteries in this? Can I use rechargeable batteries?
There is a latch at the top. Tilt it away from the base and open it up. No sure about rechargeable.

White or Red ?
Cant tell from the specs if there are white red or both leds in the light, and what combinations are available ie all, red only, etc. Thanks
There are two brightnesses of white light then red light then flashing red lights.
