Easy to set up and use

We bought this to replace our old router when we discovered it was cutting our speeds in half of what we were paying for. This has allowed us to use our full speeds again. We also like the fact it has so many options to customize to suit our needs. It has allowed us to set priority for our Xbox over all of the other devices, as well as set up a guest network so that we don't have to give out the password to our main network to everyone who comes to visit. With the dashboard program, it is also quick and easy to go in and change something. My only complaint is that for some reason Windows 8 will suddenly decide not to recognize the network for a few minutes. My desktop and tablet both do this, but the Windows 7 laptop has had no problems. It's simple enough to solve, I just have to go back in and tell it to reconnect, but it can be annoying sometimes.

Waste of money

I bought this as a cheap thing to get by on for a while after I built myself a computer and forgot to add in a wireless card. After spending an hour in the aisle at best buy, this seemed like it would get me by for a couple of months, but this thing is totally worthless. It constantly drops my internet signal, even when I'm not doing anything major- like playing mahjong and the only way to fix it is to unplug it from the usb port wait a couple of seconds and plug it back in. I have to do that about two times a night after getting home from work.
Just save yourself some time and frustration and get something else.
