You have to run the built-in software before you can save anything to the drive but once that is done you are good to go. ON MAC: you may mysteriously get locked out from the drive (file saving blocked) but you can overcome that by granting the Mac USER account access (RIGHT CLICK ON DRIVE ICON, GET INFO, SHARING AND PERMISSIONS). Just grant the user permission...viola!

While not the true nostalgic classic, this is indeed the post-modern classic. I had to get this on Blu-Ray and it looks and sounds freaking fantastic.

Some movies actually are not worth buying on Blu-Ray in the sense that they actually are not going to look better just because it's Blu-Ray, however when the price is nice that changes the ball game. Although this film isn't going to look better on Blu-Ray, we do get more pixels than DVD so we're good!

A must have experience on Blu-Ray...the freakin' audio is stunning on sound engineering rated headphones (e.g. Audio Technica ATH-M50x). If you have a retina display (e.g. MacBook Pro)...then forget it Charlie...you'll be smoking your eyes and ears out in amazing immersion experience!

Can I use this to install games on and move games from my laptop to it and than play the games from it? Also can I leave it plugged into my laptop all the time as my laptop only has a 250gb ssd in it now. Thanks for the help.
If on a Mac you can MOVE app (applications) to external devices and they should run with no problem. I do this with several of my apps and 2 of them are games. On Windows this will also work but most likely only if you INSTALL TO THE EXTERNAL DRIVE. When I used to use Windows I knew a few tricks which allowed me to run Windows applications from external drives even if I did not install to the external drives (which includes flash drives too). You can keep this external drive connected to your computer, this is what I do on my Mac...no problems.
