Excellent addition to the Star Wars Universe

The first anthology movie succeeded on all levels. It managemed to feel different but still feel like a Star Wars story. Taking place just before the original movie, there were lots of easter eggs and fun additionas for hardcore fans but the story and characters are what really drive this movie.
The story is great and you really connect with the characters. I have been a Star Wars fan since I was a kid and highly recommend this movie.

Full disclosure - I like Batman. But this series provides a new, original, take on the batman universe. The story takes place during Bruce Wayne's youth and focuses on Jim Gordon (before he is commissioner Gordon) and his fight against not only the villians of Gotham but the corruption as well. Lots of fun "cameos" by Batman villians and some new and interesting characters as well.
Can't wait for Season 2.

Joss Whedon attempted to follow up his successful series Buffy the Vampire Slayer with the science fiction-themed Firefly. Although the series failed to garner a mass audience, it did have a loyal following. Those fans will be pleased by this box set that contains every episode of the series that aired, as well as three never-before-seen episodes. All 15 episodes are presented in anamorphic widescreen. English, French, and Spanish soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. Commentaries are available on four of the episodes. Production featurettes, a blooper reel, and a tour of the set with Whedon round out this solid package that should be of interest to genre enthusiasts as well as Whedon's fans.

I missed this when it was on TV and wondered what all the fuss was about. But I am glad I decided to givce it a try. Firefly is kinda like a western set in space. Great characters and interesting stories. Sad that it was canceled, but highly recommend the show plus the follow up movie. There are also some comicbook series for those so inclined.

Star Wars the way it was meant to be done. I really enjoyed this movie. It invoked the feel of the original trilogy but brought new and interesting characters. Can;t wait to see what Episode VIII has in store for us.

Fun action packed movie. Ryan Reynolds did a great job with the character. Not your typical hero and not your typical superhero movie. But fun nonetheless. I recommend.
But not, this movie is not for younger children (hence the R rating)
