Started out great - but liking it less and less

I loved my VivoFit in the beginning, but just 2 1/2 months later - it is not working as well. It isn't measuring my steps correctly. I can be out all day - walking, and it says I haven't met my steps, and yet - I'm in the house all day just doing a few chores and it tells me I've met my goal. (Even when # of steps to meet goal is the same)
It tells me to get moving - when I've been up and around for 20+ minutes.
I love the feature that allows me to read texts and know my phone is ringing if phone is on silent. I like the fact that it adjusts my number of steps required to meet my goal based on previous days. As I have a disability that doesn't always allow me to move as much, it helps me feel successful without having to reach the same number of required steps each day.
I researched the different monitors and decided on this one, I just wish it had continued doing what it did in the beginning. I have not contacted Garmin yet - but do plan on it.
