The PlayStation 4 continues to prove to be the best gaming console on the market with its vast catalog of games. When you add the critcally acclaimed Uncharted 4 you have a literal match made in heaven. Mafia III had so much potential by taking the player into an open world within the black mafia of the 1960's. The premise and story is great and keeps you entertained but the rest of the game falls flat on its back. The gameplay is dull and repetitive, the AI is some of the dumbest I have ever seen in a game, and the lighting and textures are lacking big time. Overall Mafia III is a game you get for the story and that is not enough to justify a $60 purchase. Wait until its $30 or $40.

The Xbox One S console is slimmer, sleeker, and provides more options than its bulky less attractive counterpart. The console itself performs well for the most part and I have not had any technical issues whatsoever. However the UI is a bit clunky and unresponsive when navigating through the various windows. All and all it is a good console and will satisfy most of your gaming needs.

As a huge Ratchet & Clank fan I was thoroughly impressed with what they accomplished in this game. Reimagining of original story that felt fresh and just as entertaining as ever. Pixar like visuals that help capture the characters and world of R&C like never before. Voice acting and dialog all on par as well. The Divison is often compared to Destiny and while I see the similarities it definitely holds it own. I find it much less repetitive and quite rewarding. Visuals are not the greatest but they are impressive nonetheless. Overall the gameplay is fresh and fun however the 3rd person mechanics need to be refined. Too many times I found myself not sticking to cover when I should and the gun mechanics are not as tight as they should be. The Divison can be a lonely world when playing alone as I find the world dry and boring unless playing with friends. Star Wars is as iconic as it gets in our culture. This game brings the excitement that the Star Wars universe brings but only for a short time. It is multiplayer only and there are only a few match types that are fun and even those get old fairly quickly. The game really needs a substantial story mode but EA opted out and dropped the ball with that decision.
