Holds MacBook Pro cleanly, but...

The InCase Sling Sleeve accomplishes its intended goal--to provide a well-fitting sleeve that encases/protects a 13.3 inch MacBook Pro, AND provide a shoulder strap for hands-free carrying. Most sleeves lack the latter feature, which was important to me.
Furthermore, the extra pockets allow me to store the charging cable and brick, as well as a few other electronic/personal items.
On the other hand, the InCase Sling Sleeve does not provide adequate space for standard manila file folders, which become creased. This often damages the papers contained therein.
This is not a design fault, but rather my error in choosing this laptop carrier. In retrospect, I should have considered a 14-inch carrying case or larger.
My friends laugh at me because they have already given up paper. Instead they choose to create electronic documents and store them on the computer itself. As long as the user takes into consideration the paper storage issue, I believe that s/he will like the InCase Sling Sleeve.

Works OK; setup prompts unclear, bulky form factor

The device activated easily, but it was difficult to customize the settings. The prompts were unclear, I needed the company's tech support. While they were polite and relatively easy to reach, even they had problems with the device. In particular, re-setting the default passwords required three attempts.
Once set up, the device worked well. I like the toggle switch for the WiFi antenna, which allows me take the device off-line--good protection against hacking when it's not in use.
However, the physical shape of the device is inconvenient. It's flat like a video screen, quite large (a 7.3 inch square), and does not conveniently sit on a narrow shelf. The user must stand it up face-on because the indicator lights are all on the front and all the connectors face directly rearward. Yet the power switch is on the back and the antenna switch is on the side. Altogether this is a clumsy design.

I bought this item because of the green laser, which is more visible than red lasers when focused on large video monitors. I also find the green tone more visually appealing than red. The timer works well and is a nice feature.
The product worked perfectly with all three Windows machines that I tried--two were Windows 7 devices (laptops), and the third was a Windows 8.1 desktop computer.

This modem appeared on the Comcast-approved equipment roster. I had been renting one from Comcast for $10.00/month, but no more. All I had to do was call Comcast and provide them the serial number and the MAC number on the device. From that point forward, the modem worked great. In nine months the modem will pay for itself.

An Excellent movie and tribute to Robin Williams

I had seen the movie before, but I wanted to have a copy to view whenever I wanted. The movie shows Robin Williams in a dramatic role, which shows the breadth of his acting ability. This and Dead Poet's Society take him well away from comedy, particularly the manic kind for which he was well-known.
The other reason for buying the movie is now that he is gone, the movie has special significance, as he played a psychological counselor who helped a special person get past a serious barrier in his life. It is sad that no counselor was able to reach Mr. Williams when he hit an even more serious barrier.
About the physical DVD itself--it ran correctly, and was very clear on my TV. No surprises here.
