After researching several vacuum cleaners, I narrowed my choice down to the brands that offered a powered pet brush as the air driven ones don't work as well (I've had both). The Shark model I purchased was on sale so that sealed the deal. This is by far, the most powerful vacuum we've ever owned. It does a fantastic job. I would recommend this model over all of the other Shark models.
