This is a cheaply constructed Chinese piece of junk. The inner moving parts are the thinnest cheapest metal that quickly break apart or get stuck so the toast cannot be elevated out of the toaster. The heating wires will also heat unevenly. Stop buying Chinese products that you will have to buy again and again. Best Buy should not be selling this toaster, and they will not give you your money back after two weeks. Mine broke in four weeks, and the store refused to refund my money and wanted me to deal with the manufacturer. Oh really? I will buy everything from Amazon from now on.

It's a Piece of Garbage

This is one piece of chinese garbage. Why does Best Buy even sell such junk to customers? It broke within one month of purchase... The mechanism that brought the toast up and down jammed, and only by manual force could it be brought up again to retrieve the toast.
But right from the start the toaster was bad... The inner walls' wire elements didn't heat up much, and the bread would get toasted on one side only.
The toaster is cheap looking and feeling. At any price, stay away. Don't throw your money in the garbage like I did.
