So its a microwave, the install was really easy. The mount is pretty flimsy and really needs a few bolts through it to be real secure. the fan is a bit noisy but it was pretty cheap and I would buy it again.

I purchased this as an alternative to the Artic Silver I usually use. Let me tell you, I have rebuilt 100's of Mac Pro machines using Artic Silver, this is not the same, it is very thin, and oily, I am not sure of the thermal conductive ability of it, but I don't trust it.

OK so it is a 5400 rpm drive and many people will shy away from it thinking it will be slow. Fact is if you are using it for storage you don't need a 7200 or 10k drive. I use it as a Music and Movie drive in my MacPro, and its just fine, it transfers at 6gbps which is faster than needed for music and movies.
I ran GeekBench before and after the install and the benchmarks actually increased over the old 500gb 7200 drive!!!
Cant bear it for the price!!!
