Looks great, but packaging/extras a let down

I was very happy to pick this up on launch day with sale price at about $10 cheaper than the list price that other online options were selling for. Best Buy still seems to list this cheaper than most places, so a good place to pick up for sure. Movie has never looked better, but the packaging is odd and flimsy and the soundtrack is not included like the region B Studio Canal release has. That said, if you are locked to region A, this is a great buy, especially from Best Buy.

I was a fan of the first live action adaptation, but found this (and the movie that followed) to be even better. Highly recommended, but this and part 3 should be watched together as they tell one story.

Love this adaptation, can't recommend enough if you are a fan of the anime, but I wouldn't watch part 3 without watching part 2.

Hosoda gets compared to Miyazaki a fair amount and watching Wolf Children it is very apparent why. A wonderful story about coming of age and of being a parent that could easily fit into the Studio Ghibli catalog without missing a beat. Highly recommended.

The people of Lawndale just don't get Daria Morgendorffer. She's cool with that. See, Daria was born alienated, and now she's just trying to make it through high school with as little human contact as possible. Popularity, friends, activities... whatever. Daria lacks enthusiasm, but she makes up for it with sarcasm. Includes all five seasons plus both movies.

Huge fan of anything Ash related and was not looking forward to a remake, but this was great. Gone is the camp and really low budget effects, but at the heart, this felt like an Evil Dead movie. Some nice nods to the original series of movies. Some decent extras rounded this out.
