A couple of issues first, the wireless will sometimes stop working and have to reconnect/trouble shoot it. hasn't done it lately though. I always have to reset the display with hooking up my office monitor to it and then change it back again when using the laptop alone. This is a true pain in the "But" but I believe it's pretty common with 4k or high def laptop displays, really not sure but it's still a pain to have change the display setting each time.
I use this for business and travels from my office to home everyday. At work I have it hooked up to a Dell dock station so it stays closed and tucked away all day while I work. Through my dock I have connected HDMI to my Samsung 24" display, along with external speakers, passport backup drive and external wireless keyboard & mouse, with a few ports left to use. Very seldom do I have any issues worth noting.
At home I use it on my desk with no docking station.
It's a bit pricey but love the speed and display and pretty much everything else about it. You won't go wrong.
