Does this model come with a DVD feature ?,I had the insignia 19inch model # NS-LTDVD19-09 purch. in oct. 2008 with the DVD feature & has given good service for 9 years! until the "power on" feature no longer worked. Please advise
No, this tv does not have a DVD feature. You can use a bluray or dvd player w correct cables though.

We plan for this to be an outside TV. How do you think the screen would be in natural light?
I haven't tried watching this tv outside, but I think it would have the best picture, like most, with it being in a shade of some sort.

how many lbs of food will this hold?
Your question is rather a difficult one to answer with a direct number. It would depend on the specific packages (size, shape, weight, etc) that you're planning on putting in the freezer.

Is it frost free?
No, it is not frost free. However, mine doesn't seem to have any excessive, rather minimal, frost and it takes a while for mine to frost (the little it has). Also, for everwhen I do actually need to thaw it, there is a drain located conveniently at the bottom of freezer.
